ArtPart Contemporary Art Exhibition “HETEROTOPIA FEMININA”

From 7 February to 15 March, the Bauska Museum will host the contemporary art exhibition “HETEROTOPIA FEMININA” by the creative group ArtPart.
Participating artists are Agnese Kurzemniece, Evija Freidenfelde, Rita Pranča, Sanita Čevere, as well as invited guest Anna Siek (Poland).

The exhibition opening and a meeting with the artists will take place on 7 February at 1:00 PM.

Admission on the opening day is free of charge.

The exhibition “HETEROTOPIA FEMININA” explores the diversity of femininity — not as a single, unified identity, but as a space in which different, often even contradictory, experiences coexist.
The concept of the exhibition is based on the idea of heterotopia by the French thinker Michel Foucault — an “other space” where multiple realities, meanings, and perspectives exist simultaneously.
