On 2nd of May at 13:00, the 2026 tourism season will be opened at Bauskas pils with the event “17th Century Cavalry”.
The event is organized within the framework of the School of Historical Lifestyle. During the event, visitors will be able to see a life-size horse mannequin in the castle stables, equipped with early 17th-century harness, saddle, necessary gear, and a cavalryman dressed in early 17th-century armour.
