Join us at the “Everti” homestead to celebrate the longest and most powerful day of the year through ancient Latvian traditions and Everti rituals.
You may participate in one ritual or experience the full journey from sunrise to sunset. Guests may arrive and leave at any time.
Bring with you:
Food for the shared table or your own meal, a mug and eating utensils. Tea, herbal soup, and small treats will be available on site.
Women are encouraged to wear beautiful skirts or dresses, men – white shirts.
You may also bring ribbons, yarn, feathers, last year’s wreaths, and a yellow candle for the evening ritual.
Participation by donation. Registration is not required.
Programme
04:30 – Gates “Rebirth of Darkness into Light”
Sunrise ritual in the oak park: cleansing fire, river bathing, morning Sun fire ritual.
Afterwards – breakfast, herb gathering, flower picking, peaceful meadow time.
09:00 Gong meditation
10:00 Wreath making and creation of Sun symbols
13:00 – Gates “Light”
Fire ritual for strengthening inner harmony and balance.
Cheese making, torch crafting, herbal soup, traditional games and dances.
18:30 – Gates “Land of Light”
Final arrival time for participants.
Evening Great Midsummer Fire Ritual connecting the Light of Heaven with the Love of Earth.
Bring a yellow candle, seeds or grains for offering, and your midsummer flower bouquet.
Around 21:00
We will carry a spark of fire to the river to send greetings to all midsummer celebrants.
If you create handmade products such as teas, creams, or crafts, feel free to bring them for a small local market corner.
