Photographer Juris Bērziņš-Soms' exhibition "Track and Field," at the IGO Music and Art Center "CEPLIS"

On July 9 at 6:00 p.m., an exhibition by photographer Juris Bērziņš-Soms titled “Track and Field” will open at the Cepļa Upes House. The photographs will capture the athletes’ emotions, portraits, and movement.

On the opening day of the exhibition, at 8:00 p.m. in Cepļi, a special concert will take place, bringing together on one stage five outstanding musicians from the Latvian Radio Big Band, led by conductor Kārlis Vanags, along with Aivars Hermanis, guitarist for the band REMIX, and Igo.

During REMIX’s active years in the mid-1980s, Juris Bērziņš-Soms became the band’s poster and publicity photographer; therefore, this evening will feature not only musical but also visual surprises.
