On July 11, 2026, Rundāle Palace will host the “Pilsrundāle Legends Rogaining” event—an exciting orienteering adventure set in the natural and historic landscape of Zemgale:
- Registration for participants begins at 9:30 a.m.
- Races from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Awards ceremony and raffle at 5:00 p.m.

The “Pilsrundāle Legends Rogaining” event is a team orienteering sport suitable for everyone—it involves strategic navigation in nature, where participants choose their own route to visit checkpoints and earn points within a set time limit. The program includes 2-, 4-, and 6-hour rogaining courses for teams, a 3-hour MTB course, a 2-hour individual orienteering run, a family walk for children, and a hike with no time limit. It’s a great opportunity to spend time actively in the fresh air and explore the Rundāle area with family, friends, or colleagues.
During the “Legend Rogaining” event, participants will be treated to a landscape where the majestic Rundāle Palace stands out against the backdrop of the vast Zemgale plains—surrounded by meadows, distant horizons, and the stories of people accumulated over the centuries, all of which lend this place a special atmosphere.
The event is organized by the "Adventure Race Association" with co-funding from the Bauska Municipality.
