On August 5 at 3:00 PM, a special commemorative event will take place at the Amtmanis Actors' Museum "Zvanītāju Bukas", honoring one of the most distinguished figures in the history of Latvian theatre, Alfreds Amtmanis-Briedītis. This event offers an opportunity not only to remember the outstanding actor, director, and theatre professional, but also to celebrate the cultural and spiritual values that bring generations together. We warmly invite everyone— theatre enthusiasts, lovers of culture, local residents, and visitors alike—to join us for this heartfelt day of remembrance as we honor Alfreds Amtmanis-Briedītis' lasting contribution to Latvian culture and preserve the memory of his remarkable legacy.
Programme:
3:00 PM – Worship service at Valle Evangelical Lutheran Church, followed by "Summer Etude", a concert presented by the students and teachers of the Vecumnieki School of Music and Arts.
4:30 PM – The event continues in the garden of the Amtmanis Actors' Museum "Zvanītāju Bukas", featuring a special meeting with actors from the Latvian National Theatre.
