So, two actors from different generations: Edgars Pujāts—forever young, with the motto “A frame around my neck, a picture in the window, eternal spring in my heart…” A meticulous Agent who always finds a way out of any dead end.
Armands Kaušelis—an actor often seen with a camera around his neck—not only sings and dances along with the others but also makes sure that the ship called “Agents” doesn’t run aground.
The concert program “What a Happy Coincidence!” was created in connection with Liepāja’s 400th anniversary, and the concert features music by four composers closely associated with Liepāja: Jānis Lūsēns, Imants Kalniņš, Jānis Strazds, and Uldis Marhilēvičs.
We tried to make the concert varied so that it would remain interesting throughout—there are theater songs, tribute songs, acoustic sing-alongs, and, of course, the absolute classics “Lilioms” by Imka and “Tikai tā” by Marhilēvičs to close out the concert…
